Avi LeBeau is leaving home to attend Briarcliff Prep, a Historically Black Boarding School. While she is scared of the change, she knows she can rely on a current student—her big sister Belle. She begins to settle into school life with new friends (and foes), challenging classes, and maybe a cute tutor-turned-something-more. Meanwhile, Belle begins dating Logan, the big man at Briarcliff’s sibling school, Preston Academy. But something about Logan doesn’t sit well with Avi. And when Avi stumbles across the truth, her relationship with Belle is put to the test.

Brianna A. Peppins was born in D.C. and raised in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She attended Spelman College, graduating with a BA in Psychology and shortly after began writing her debut novel, Briarcliff Prep. When not writing, Brianna takes special interest in social justice issues, yoga, baking, embroidery, and is a self-proclaimed movie aficionado.

Charlene Thomas has been writing since she was young. At age sixteen she wrote a manuscript that won the National Novel Silver Award from Scholastic Books and went on to minor in creative writing at North Carolina State University. Her novel Seaton Girls was published this past August.

Pre-orders of Briarcliff Prep will come with exclusive art cards and a bookmark, while supplies last. Order early - limited supply of art cards/bookmarks.
