What A Windstorm Teaches by Nancy Allinson and Martin Dickinson


Nancy Allinson is a Maryland poet whose chapbook, Harmony Not Yet Broken, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2015. Her work has appeared in Poet Lore, Minimus, Potomac Review, District Lines, taxi cab magazine, and Beltway Poetry Quarterly. She is also winner of the “Bethesda 8” Trolley Poetry Bench contest. Nancy has been an emcee at the Kensington Row Bookshop poetry reading series for the past several years. She sings with the Rockville Chorus and the Bethesda Jewish Congregation choir.

Martin Dickinson lives in Washington, D.C. His poems focus on family, work, nature and time and frequently echo classical carpe diem and ubi sunt motifs. The author of the chapbook, My Concept of Time, his poems have appeared in California Quarterly, The Innisfree Poetry Journal and numerous other print and on-line journals.
