As a celebration of hundred years of vertical flight, 1907-2007, the author has described the evolution of rotary wing machines, from which helicopters are the result. This book illustrates the five-frame topical philatelic exhibit (80 pages) telling this story in displaying all the stamps that have been issued throughout the world until 2007.
The author is a native of Toulouse, France, and a retired aeronautic engineer. His forty-year career in the Helicopter Industry spanned all its aspect, from an engineer to a regional representative in South-East Asia based in Hong Kong, and to a Corporate Executive in North America.
