The Babies and Doggies Book (Board book)
The Babies and Doggies Book is a visual feast for infants, a fun read-aloud for parents, and a treat for all who love babies and dogs.
When you stop and think about it, babies and doggies do many of the same things. They squirm, sniff, sit, and splash. They play ball and cuddle. Lots of things babies do, doggies do too!
This board book explores all of the similar actions shared by baby and baby's best friend. Illustrated with beautiful, full-color photographs featuring an array of dog breeds and a diverse cast of babies.

Molly Woodward has always made a beeline for the kids' section of the bookstore, because that’s where the fun is. She followed this love to children’s publisher Tricycle Press/Random House, then to nonprofit publisher Heyday, where she edited books for all ages. Now she works for herself, helping people craft stories across media. Molly and her family frequent their library in Martinez, California.
"The combination of charming kids and adorable dogs creates an appealing board book for little ones." —Kirkus "Written in rhyming and near-rhyming couplets, the upbeat verses do a good job of pointing out similarities, but the crisp, colorful photos of babies (and sometimes toddlers) and their canine counterparts steal the show." —Booklist —
